IXSolutions “IX” was initially started in response to the ACA to act as an online exchange, providing employees an option to shop for health insurance on the individual market. The “IX” originally came from “Insurance Exchange”. There was anticipation that the ACA would cause employees to move from their group health plan and shop on the individual market. Within a couple years, there was a realization that employees were still looking to receive health insurance from their employer. The owners of IXSolutions and brothers, Johnny DiVito and Christian DiVito, took the same model of offering an electronic shopping experience and handholding assistance to the group market and started focusing on working with companies. Today, IXSolutions focuses on helping companies attract and retain talented employees by redefining the way employers offer health insurance and benefits to their employees.
